June 23/07 was another great day for the doc.  A good crowd was on hand for the screening at the Innis Town Hall in TO.  Peter and Buddy slipped into the theatre after the screening started, so most people there didn’t know he was there.  Before the applause died down at the end of the film I ran down to the front and asked the audience to greet the stars of the film.  Once again the crowd came to their feet and gave Pete and Buddy a standing ovation.   That says something about how people feel when they meet a real hero.

We adjourned to the foyer of the theatre where the Q & A went on for almost as long as the film.  People are still interested and concerned about our less-than -fortunate neighbours.  http://www.reelheart.com/2007/zenphoto/index.php?album=june-23-mo&image=june23_19.jpg

Topping things off for this event was the second place award for short or long form documentaries!  Not bad for a couple of boys from Bowmanville!
